These appointments respond to a growth strategy the firm is implementing in Madrid, thereby strengthening the Area of Mergers and Acquisitions as well as the Tax Law Department of the Madrid branch. 

Mª Luisa Corral will join the firm as partner member of the Area of Mergers and Acquisitions. Previously to that, she had been in charge of the same area at Dutilh Abogados. For his part, Guillermo Hernández also joins the Madrid branch as partner and member of the Tax Law Department, in the same capacity as the one he was in at Dutilh Abogados before he left. Both professionals offer JAUSAS added value through a distinguished and complementary understanding of their field gathered after ten years of working together in a team on relevant operations of a national and international nature. 

For JAUSAS, these incorporations have two objectives: to strengthen their team of lawyers in Madrid, now made of twenty professionals and to strengthen the Area of M&A and that in spite of the present economic circumstances. They believe M&A will have to alter its focus and although it is obvious the market has had to adapt to the new context, they believe M&A operations are bound to continue.
