On 17th and 18th September, in our offices of Barcelona and Madrid respectively, JAUSAS organised a new session of their Working breakfasts to analyse the "New Farmaindustria self-Regulation System". The speakers were Héctor Jausàs, partner, and Remedio Ferreres, associated, both of the Health and Pharmaceutical Law Department of JAUSAS.
The new Farmaindustria self-regulation system has become a very effective tool of control, promoted through the modification of the Spanish Code of Practice for the Promotion of Medicines, the Regulations of the Organs of Control and, likewise, the approval of the new Code of Good Practices of Relationships between the Pharmaceutical Industry and Patient Organizations. On this occasion, were analyzed the main novelties of the Self-Regulation System, the most troubled aspects of their application and how they affect the commercial activities and research that pharmaceutical companies develop.
