The sessions will be practical in nature and spread over three main blocks. Remedio Ferreres, JAUSAS Associate and member of the firm's Department of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Law, will take part as a speaker in the first block, explaining how expert testimony is provided, fees and the request for a retainer.
The magistrate of Section 12 of the Madrid Provincial Court will deal with how expert testimony should be approached so that it is admitted and considered valid at trial. Additionally, Natalia Arranz, legal specialist at the Madrid Institute of Pharmacists will, together with lawyer Carolina Cardillo, be responsible for explaining the practical aspects of the expert report with regard to submission and content, as well as the civil liability of pharmaceutical expert witnesses.
