This seminar, organised by IFAES, is to be held on Tuesday 29 June next in Madrid, and will be given wholly by JAUSAS's Insolvency Department. The speakers will be: Agustí Bou and Roser Ràfols, partners; Mª Elisa Escolà, Miquel Maristany and Roger Canals, associates.
The Seminar is chiefly aimed at those holding legal responsibility, in-house lawyers, corporate, financial, and corporate development executives, private equity stakeholders and executives with related responsibilities. The purpose of the programme is to set out the advantages and hurdles posed by the Insolvency Law as regards acquiring businesses in an insolvency proceeding: the investment opportunities arising in the wake of the current context of economic crisis; the main issues to be considered during the process of purchase negotiations and the overall relevant risks.
